Dr. Wenxi Hu (Wendy) is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Competency Education Centre, The Education University of Hong Kong. Her broader research interests include AI and humanities studies, environmental humanities, film and new media studies, and Chinese literature and culture studies. Her work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Computers and Education: Artificial Intelligence, Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies of Literature and Environment, and Chinese Literature and Thought Today.
Beyond academia, she regularly delivers environmental lectures for youth audiences, organizes community screenings of environmental films in mainland China, and contributes environmental commentaries to Hong Kong newspapers. She is also the co-founder of the Hong Kong Society for Environmental Humanities (HKSEH), which hosts monthly seminars and public guest lectures to foster a platform for young scholars in the environmental humanities.
